The 2020 CFC will have a different look and feel than any other year. Our Campaign Contests will provide an opportunity for the CFC to recognize you and your team for going above and beyond, using creativity to bring the CFC message to your co-workers, no matter where they are working. The contests will recognize agencies and their CFC teams that demonstrate the theme Show Some Love and Be the Face of Change, to support the goals of the campaign.
We invite you to submit entries for the campaign kickoff, communications, and innovation contests. Entries will be judged by a panel of federal employees. Submissions will be judged on first impression, presentation quality, creativity/uniqueness, communication of CFC messages, and perceived level of effort.
KICKOFF EVENT CONTEST
BACKGROUND: Campaign events create awareness for the CFC, generate excitement about the campaign, and are a great way to kick off the campaign period in your agency. As we adapt our usual campaign techniques to accommodate new ways of working, meeting, and engaging, we want to hear about and celebrate your best ideas for a socially distanced or virtual CFC kickoff event.
DETAILS: Submissions will be judged based on level of creativity, attendance/community involvement, communicating the MS Delta CFC message, and perceived level of effort. The top five submissions will be shared on the MS Delta Facebook page for final voting.
TO ENTER: Submit your event through our webform where you will be asked to provide details about the event and submit photos, screenshots, etc. (HINT: Encourage event attendees to hold up a CFC logo or Show Some Love circle and take a screenshot.)

MID-CAMPAIGN COMMUNICATION CONTEST
BACKGROUND: Historically, campaign activity and enthusiasm are the strongest during the kickoff and closing weeks. To maintain CFC awareness and excitement during the middle of the campaign, we will be hosting a Mid-Campaign Communication Contest with particular emphasis on activities the week of #GivingTuesday (the week after Thanksgiving).
DETAILS: Submissions will be judged based on creative use of website, video, electronic tools; creative display of a poster, photography, or original images; attendance at an event; and/or the use of the CFC Giving Mobile App. The top five submissions will be shared on the MS Delta Facebook page for final voting.

CAMPAIGN INNOVATOR CONTEST
BACKGROUND: Especially during this unique year, we want to encourage, recognize, and celebrate creative ideas and implementation that help make the CFC a success: encouraging federal employees to pledge monetary donations and volunteer time and increasing campaign results for your agency over the prior year. The Campaign Innovator Contest will highlight the culmination of innovative strategies and programs implemented during the course of the 2020 CFC.
DETAILS: Innovative activities can be in the areas of campaign administration/management, marketing, fundraising & incentive efforts, and/or other innovations that display creativity and excellence. Examples include initiating new or improved methods of promoting the CFC, educating donors, implementing new technology, or conducting an innovative activity/event. Submissions will be judged....
